Butterbank Flower Farm is a small, independent flower farm and florist based in the Staffordshire countryside, growing beautiful seasonal flowers for our bouquets and floral creations.

We love growing flowers that follow the rhythm of the seasons. From the first spring tulips and ranunculus to summer cosmos, dahlias and snapdragons, our growing calendar is guided by what naturally thrives here, rather than forcing flowers to bloom out of season.

Wherever possible, our bouquets are filled with flowers grown right here at Butterbank. Growing our own flowers means we can cut them fresh, choose varieties for their colour, scent and vase life, and enjoy the wonderful unpredictability that comes with growing seasonally.

But we don't believe a beautiful bouquet should have to follow a rigid rule.

Our homegrown flowers are sometimes complemented with carefully selected flowers from trusted wholesale suppliers, particularly when something is out of season here, when a particular colour or variety is needed, or when our own fields simply aren't producing enough.

The result is a flower mix that combines the best of what we grow with flowers chosen to complement it, while keeping our focus firmly on seasonality, freshness and beautiful British-grown flowers wherever we can.

We're passionate about growing flowers in a way that works with nature too. We care about the health of our soil, encourage pollinators and wildlife, and grow a diverse range of flowers rather than relying on a single crop.
